The sun is acully listed as vulnerable to exinction by the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature). Sun bears are thretened by loss of habitat and being hunted and only lives in Southeast Asia. But dont worry there is hope, a group called Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre (BSBCC) locatited in Malaysia strives to help captive sun bears, rehabilitate sun bears and release them back into the wild.
